Marching Band Camp

Here is the 2010 Band Camp Schedule for the Highland Marching Band. Please join us for the Band Camp Dinner Fundrasier on August 3rd at 5:00 PM. Pre-Order Forms need to be turned in by Saturday, July 31st. More information about band camp can be found here.

Marching Band Uniform Fitting Information

Marching Band uniform fittings will take place on July 22, 23, 26, & 27. Please visit the Uniform Page for information on uniform fittings.

Also, photographs of your student in uniform with their instruments will be available at the time of fittings. Here is the Photo Order Form. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please indicate that when you return his/her date & time for fittings. Please have them bring the order form, payment and their instruments when they come for their fitting. Please direct any photo questions to April Fitzsimmons - april@aprilsphotos.com

Marching Band Schedule Changes

There have been significate changes to the Fall 2010 Marching Band Schedule due to event date changes. ABODA moved the dates for the state festivals and Mesquite moved theirs as well. This has also forced us to change the fall tour weekend. Please visit the HHS Marching Band page for more information.

New $160 District Class Fee

Added July 19, 2010

As many of you are finding out, the school district is charging $160 per class per semester for any classes over 7 that your student is registered for. Lunch and Seminary do not count toward the seven. This is not a band fee and the money does not go to the band program. This is a District Class Fee. Our booster president is finding more information for you all to give you during he parent meeting next week. If you feel the need to call, all questions about the class fee will need to be directed to the Gilbert School's district office - 480-497-3300.

Please do not worry at this time if you are unable to pay the new class fee. Your student will not be dropped from the class for now. More information will follow.

New District Email & Website

The district has phased into a new email system and website. Please give us time to work out the bugs that come with a new system. The new district website is www.gilbertschools.net New email addresses have been updated on the Director's Contact Page.
