Winterguard Places 2nd at WGAZ State Championships

Congratulations to the Winterguard for their 2nd place finish at the WGAZ Circuit Championships. This year's show was entitled "Adventures in Flight" and tracked flight on the radar screen floor mat and through the multiple layers of space.

The fifteen performing members wowed the audience and judges with their excellent performance moving up from a 3rd place ranking going into championships to their 2rd place finish in the Scholastic A National class. The Scholastic A National class is for local Arizona units who also compete on the national level at WGI regionals. The WGI Phoenix Regional was held at Highland High School on Saturday March 13 in which Highland's winterguard placed 5th against units from California, Texas and Arizona.
